St Peter's Westfield
The Parish of Westfield only came into being in the early 50’s. Worship, though, has gone on in Westfield over the last 100 years. Evensong was first said in a house in Elm Terrace in 1902 by the miners living in Westfield. They wanted a church of their own and so in the end there have been three churches built since that time. The first was in front of what is now Continuforms, the second on the site of the present church car park and lastly the present church built in 1988. Over the years St Peter’s has grown in numbers and offers worship of varying types to a wide variety of people. With the help of God may it continue.
The Rev Bush is also the chaplain to Norton Radstock College
